Purpose
The implementation of Environmental Management Planning (EMP) is a positive commitment by East Coast Designer Builders to ensures all obligations are fulfilled before during and after the construction phase and that the project is delivered to the highest quality, safety and environmental standards.
The purpose of Environment Management Planning is to provide careful management of all relevant aspects of construction projects and it is central to the successful completion of projects.
Individual EMPs will outline the methodology and procedures involved the project, which are intended to be implemented to manage construction activities so as to ensure that these activities minimise environmental and community disturbance over the life of the project.
The plan is developed taking into account all aspects of the nature of the project. This includes ensuring that contractors comply with the anticipated environmental conditions of the project and environmental risks are properly managed.
This will be achieved by:
Environmental Management Plans (EMP) are implemented once acknowledged and accepted by the client. They provide a clear record and definition as to what will be monitored and documented for the Management through the Construction Phase of the works.
